Not quite long Olamide announced the departure of fast rising superstars, Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun & Viktoh, from his YBNL record label and wished them well on their new journey.
Looking at the relationship between Don Jazzy and former record label mates, D’banj and Wande Coal, there is, no doubt, disparity between these two bosses.

1. See Your Artistes As Your Equals
Olamide has always referred to his label mates as his brothers and not his subordinates or children. Being the boss does not make you their father or monarch. You are simply first among equals.

Olamide signed Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun & Viktoh with the belief that after the two years with his label, they would be good enough, not to sign up under another record label, but to start their own.
