Kassim Afegbua, media adviser to former head of state Ibrahim Babangida, has been invited by the Department of State Services (DSS), Premium Times reports.

President Muhammadu Buhari has designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts of the ruling All Progressives Party (APC). Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos state is the leader of the party.

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has ordered the arrest of Kassim Afegbua, the media aide to former dictator Ibrahim Babangida, The Nation reports. The order is reportedly in connection to the statement released and signed by Afegbua on behalf of Babangida.
