Last December, Nigerian superstar Davido staged his headline show tagged the 30 Billion Concert which drew an unprecedented attendance at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre.

Speaking to Hip TV recently, the singer revealed that the concert was almost called off days to the event due to the death of two of his friends, DJ Olu & Tagbo.

He also confirmed that he will be staging the concert again this year but in a much bigger venue.

The report of Directorate of Public Prosecution has revealed that popular music artist, David Adeleke aka Davido might not be totally free over his alleged involvement in the death Tagbo Umeike.

The two friends of singer, Davido, and his driver, who were arrested last week in connection with the death of 35-year-old Tagbo Umeike, are still in police custody. Recall that the two friends,  Agbaje Olaoye and Idris Busari, were arrested last week Wednesday, October 11th, after Davido brought them himself to see the commissioner of Police in Ikeja who then ordered their arrest. They were arrested for abandoning Tagbo at the hospital on October 2nd. Davido's driver, Tunde Usutu, who was also arrested is also still in police custody. 

Following Davido’s release of his own clip from the night Tagbo died, Dami, a family friend to Tagbo’s family, has revealed the tape is of no use in the ongoing investigation.

Davido seems to be getting alot of support from his fellow entertainers. The latest being CDQ who just showed his support for the embattled musician.

The Family of a friend of Davido and actress Caroline Danjuma’s lover, Tagbo Umeike, has released an official statement, concerning his death and all the controversies it’s generated.

The police say they have recovered the vehicle used in dumping Tagbo Umeike’s body.

The vehicle was recovered from singer Davido’s house and arrests have been made, the police said.

Davido has said that he’ll soon be releasing a statement and footage on his friend Tagbo Umeike‘s demise.

There are reports filtering in that musician, Davido has been arrested by the police for his alleged involvement in the death of his friend, Tagbo.

Davido has dedicated the two awards he won at the 2017 Africa Muzik Magazine Awards & Music Festival (AFRIMMA) to two of his friends – Tagbo and DJ Olu – who died days apart last week.

The Lagos State Police reportedly invited singer Davido and Caroline Danjuma for questioning on the death of their friend Tagbo Umeike.

As accusations are being made and denied over what actually led to the death of a man named Tagbo, Caroline Danjuma has gone further to share a new photo of the late Tagbo strolling on a beach with Davido, his best friend Ashley Ebong and lawyer Bobo Ajudua.
